Seamless Matter is comprised of several professional product photographers who are constantly surprised by our clients who tell us how difficult it is to get simple yet, great looking shots on white.
Seamless Matter is a simple concept. You send us your products that need to be featured on websites, print catalogues, and trade publications and we shoot them for you on a seamless background. We provide you with high quality photos in a fast and efficient manner...and we'll make your stuff look great.
Our clients include many major retailers and manufacturers as well as several small businesses. Our photography has been displayed on Amazon, Etsy and HSN, among others. If you need your products photographed then contact us to arrange a shipment for your shoot!
How it Works
STEP 1
Fill out the order form. We'll give you a call or email you if there are any additional questions about your order. A final quote will be sent via email. A deposit of half the quote is paid, then send your products to us!
NOTE: Please, please, Insure your products through your carrier. It would break our hearts if your products get lost, stolen, damaged, or fall victim to some other villainous tragedy. Stuff on White cannot be held responsible for anything shipping damage. We're also a big fan of tracking numbers, we'd recommend those too.
If you're in the Middle Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, or Northern Alabama areas we can arrange a pickup / drop off appointment. We might require a small gas/coffee/lunch fee if we're on the road for a while, but sometimes that cheaper than shipping! We'll let you decide whats best.
STEP 2
Get your photos in about a week...or less.
Give us about 3 or 4 days to shoot, retouch, clip, flip and flop your photos. We may also be able to "rush" your gig. There may be an extra fee, but we'll do our best to accommodate you.
The items are photographed in studio and processed. A proof is sent for approval. Once approved, the final files are uploaded to an ftp site and a link is provided for image download.
File sizes will vary, but we deliver the highest resolution image we can get for you. We usually deliver 5-6 megabyte files in a JPEG format. We shoot in RGB, so we'll deliver in RGB. If you need us to deliver LAB Color or CMYK we can convert them for you.
We'll also be happy to drop the images on a data disk and ship a copy back with your stuff. (The first disk is free and additional copies are $15 each).
STEP 3
We'll wait to ship everything back to you until you get a chance to look over everything make sure it's right. Should there be a situation where your product is perishable or just not worth shipping back, that's fine too; just let us know ahead of time. An email is sent with tracking information and the final portion of the invoice is paid.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express though PayPal. We will also accept electronic checks through Quickbooks. We can send you an invoice so you can pay with a traditional, hardcopy check for orders over $1000.
Pricing
The following prices are based on 1 to 2 angles per product (depending on the nature of the product) and includes some basic image clean up.
- Most small tabletop products = $50/product
- Larger products (2 feet in any direction) = $85/product
- Jewelry & Clothing= generally $100/product (jewelry can be tricky, we evaluate each product separately)
EXTRA LARGE ITEMS
This includes anything like large furniture, kitchen stoves, stuff that requires a few big guys in uniforms to deliver it. We probably need to talk about it before you stick it on a trailer to us.
VOLUME DISCOUNTS
- More than 10 products we'll earn you a 10% discount on your order.
- More than 30 products will earn you a 20% discount on your order.
- More than 50 products will earn you a 30% discount on your order.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Once we receive your shipment we'll review each your products. We'll contact you should anything look like it needs special treatment outside of our estimate.
If you need display aids like models, props, special styling, wild animal handling there will be an extra fee, which we'll evaluate on an individual basis.
Clipping paths, etc (for Catalogues)
If you need a clipping path or a knock-out we'll work with you; it's usually and extra $10/image.

IMAGE RIGHTS
These shots are for your use during the normal course of business to do whatever you need to with them. Technically, Stuff on White maintains copyright, but you're free to use the images for whatever purpose you please, as long as you desire, without further rights leases. We maintain copyright mainly for the purpose of being able to use the image for self-promotion, however, we do reserve the right to resell, gift, or reuse the image. Your usage rights are contingent upon payment of your invoice. Any use prior to full payment constitutes copyright infringement and no one likes that.
